Abstract

ithin the knowledge society of the 21st century, industrialised countries perceive a tremendous shift towards global markets where knowledge has become one of the most important assets of modern organisations. This change strongly impacts the nature of work and of workforce itself. The most successful enterprises in this new “world” will be those who recognise the importance of knowledge as a resource and who investigate in the management thereof.
