Abstract
The removal of short circuit fault current in DC transmission engineering is a difficult point in power engineering. In recent years, HVDC circuit breakers with the ability of short circuit current removal have been demonstrated and applied in many DC projects. The HVDC circuit breaker structure and control logic are complex, and the DC protection and DC circuit breaker need to be coordinated directly.
