Abstract

This paper report a brief review of the neuromorphic computing systems along with a brief overview of their working principle, their design methodologies. Also this papers provides an insight to the new design techniques which opens up the possibility to attain high speed and large complexity with a lower energy cost. The neuropmorphic systems which are inspired by biological phenomenon’s are most promising candidate for next generation information processing and computations. The scopes, opportunities and challenges faced by the neuromorphic computing systems has been also discussed.
