Abstract
The article analyzes the forms of civil activism in teaching, identified in the course of field research in 2013-2016 and in 2019. So, in 2013-2016, we found that teachers continued to show an active position in their activities, driven by civic duty. As part of the research, it was found that only those innovations introduced in education that are accepted by the teaching community are successfully adapted at the level of regional centers of the Russian Federation. At the same time, according to the results of a study conducted in 2019, it was found that civil activism is declining among teachers, and they are limited to providing educational services. As a method of sociological survey, focus groups were chosen with representatives of the district administration, teachers of General education institutions, employees of additional education institutions, and figures of cultural and leisure institutions.
