For this purpose, a face-to-face survey was conducted with 539 households living in the urban area of Mersin. The aim of this study is to examine various factors that affect bread consumption behavior and to examine how effective they are in bread consumption. In this context, bread consumption of households in Mersin was examined; education, age, height-weight index, number of households and income were considered as independent variables. There was a negative correlation between education and age variables and bread consumption; The relationship between height-weight index, household number and income and bread consumption was found to be positive. In this study, it is especially important to correlate height-weight index with bread consumption. Working-Leser Model was used in the analysis of the study. Abstract
