This paper aims at building a real-time based power monitoring system that measures the energy consumption within the household and uploads the data to the cloud. A mobile application is developed to monitor and analyze the data. A notification is sent to the consumer's registered phone number on drawing energy beyond the set limit. The mobile application shows realtime consumption status of the consumer to create a better understanding of the loads installed.
