Abstract
The effectiveness of the aqueous extract (cold and boiled) of bean
peels was studied, and the active compounds were determined by Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrophotometer (FT-IR), and concentrations (1, 3, 5) mg/ml
were used when treating fourth-instar larvae and the pupae of Cx. quinquefasciatus mosquitoes and its effect on the percentage of the mortality of the fourth larval instar, the pupa stage and the inhibition of emergence of adults when treating
the fourth larval instar and pupa stage of the insect in Kerbala governorate for
March 2022 to control mosquitoes.
