Abstract

The Indian Education sector has seen a tremendous rise in higher education since last decades. In modern era of education, IT plays a key role to gain success to the educational set up. But effective knowledge management is an important entity to ensure that academics are able to develop the educational potential in fullest. In era of globalization and knowledge base economy, Knowledge is being considered as the main driver of this economy. Knowledge sharing is a new opportunity that has been emerged within the spectrum of information technology, information management and recently Cloud Computing. In present scenario, many educational institutions are facing the problems with the growing need of IT and infrastructure. In the current financial crisis and world of economy higher learning institutions has facing problems to provide the necessary information technology support for knowledge management activities development in the institutions. This short theoretical paper is discussed meta-observation over a cloud ecosystem through the knowledge windows. And expanded a vision on new insights in achieving KM through cloud computing in higher education as growing need of infrastructure have to spend a large amount to fulfill the needs and demands of academic stakeholders.
