The main scope of the research was design and implementation of the mobile platform, allowing the WSN nodes to autonomously change its location in active way. The designed platform had been integrated with sensor node and provided with a mechanisms allowing for remote control node's position. However we assume the lack of such control in the future. Our goal is to construct a small unit, called RoboMote, equipped with sensors that will move around and communicate in response to environmental changes. The prototype research process considers hardware and software issues including project and implementation phase. The constructed prototype spreads possibilities for developing, implementing and benchmarking solutions dedicated for ad-hoc mobile wireless sensor networks.
