Abstract
Optical phase conjugation of a linear pulse to compensate for the effects of even-order dispersion was first proposed by Yariv et al.1 and recently demonstrated.2 If a pulse is conjugated at the fiber midpoint, subsequent propagation reverses the effects of even-order dispersion.
