Abstract

The materials devoted to open hand injuries are presented. Currently, this injury type ranks among the highest in the work of a traumatologist, especially an outpatient, since this injury tends to increase in frequency and severity. This issue has been one of the most urgent in traumatology and orthopedics for a long time. It includes many facets, among which there is a high risk of complications and consequences. The most important of them are disability and restriction of professional activity. The results of studies conducted at the clinical base of the traumatological and orthopedic department and the trauma center of the 1st level of the Archbishop Luke Tambov City Clinical Hospital are presented. Aim is to study the dynamics of open hand injuries depending on the nature of the injury and the season of the year. Materials and methods: the study was conducted on the basis of statistical data of the traumatological and orthopedic department and the trauma center of the 1st level of the Archbishop Luke Tambov City Clinical Hospital, analysis of educational and applied literature, as well as scientific articles published in the journals included in the HAC List, indexed by Scopus, RSCI, ESCI, CAS, PubMed.
