Abstract
The rapid developments of the internet and web technology have opened the door for feasible and cost effective solutions for power system problems. This paper is aiming at developing a web-based environment for load flow studies. The existing applications are standalone modules or desktop applications which necessitates the infrastructural setup at the participant site of the deregulated power market. The proposed environment facilitates the participant to access the load flow analysis module from anywhere at any time through internet. As the proposed model makes use of Matlab Builder JA for deploying Matlab modules as Java components, the information integration and communication among various market participants become platform-independent.
