This study examined School Based Management Committees (SBMCs) contribution in improving access to Basic Education in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.\nPurpose: This review was to address the dearth in available literature for use by researchers, students, ministry of education and other related shareholders who will like to have access to literature to further strengthen and sustain school Based Management Committees contributions in improving access to Basic Education in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna state.\nFindings: The paper reviewed the strategic contributions of school Based Management Committees in improving access to Basic Education in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Abstract

Introduction: The increasing number of out of school children in Nigeria is very disturbing.
