Abstract
The rectangular waveguide filled with multilayer dielectric is analyzed by using Fourier's expansion-differential method. Through calculating and comparing the cut-off wave numbers with theoretical referenced values of the rectangular guide filled with different width of dielectric, the correctness of the new method is verified. In addition, the cut-off and dispersion characteristics of H-waveguide filled with multilayer dielectric is numerically computed and analyzed. The method is more effective to calculate some complex dielectric problems. It is of important referenced values for design and application of microwave and millimeter wave components.
