Abstract
New energy power stations operated independently often have the problem of power abandonment due to the uncertainty of new energy output. The difference in time between new energy generation and load power consumption makes the abandonment of new energy power generation and the shortage of power supply in some periods. Energy storage for new energy power stations can solve these problems. Firstly, the expenditure model of independent operation of new energy power station is established. Then, the whole life cycle of energy storage is modeled, and the generation cost of new energy power stations is calculated by cost electricity price. Then, formulate the charging and discharging strategy of energy storage. With the goal of minimizing the total expenditure of the new energy power station and the constraint of meeting the charge and discharge power of regional load power supply and energy storage, the genetic algorithm is used to solve the problem when the power station is configured with different energy storage. Through simulation analysis, this paper compares the different cost of kilowatt-hour energy storage and the expenditure of the power station when the new energy power station is configured with electrochemical energy storage, pumped energy storage, and compressed air energy storage. The calculation example shows the economic efficiency of the new energy power station. At the same time, the sensitive factors affecting the cost of kilowatt-hour energy storage and the expenditure of the power station are analyzed.
