The article discusses the role of text problems in preparing for university studies. By developing the ability to think and ratiocinafe, understand the essence of the problem? and implement it in a mathematical model, and apply the necessary mathematical apparatus for solving it, school children gain valuable work skills that they will need when studying at a university. Text problems help building a professional trajectory even in school.
