Abstract

There is a growing trend for real-time Ethernet in nearly all industrial branches. In aviation industry Avionics Full Duplex Switched Ethernet (AFDX) was standardized to meet specific requirements of regulation authorities for safety critical systems (e.g. determinism and link availability).
