Abstract
Space charge dynamics were studied by analyzing the pulse discharge current spectra in polymer film. Polymer samples with aluminum-metalized electrodes on both sides were subjected to negative DC field of 200-400 MV/m for 1-10 minutes. The subsequent short circuit current by connecting the two sides was monitored by AC current probe P6022 (Tektronix). The time coefficient of the decreasing oscillating current was found to be a changeable parameter. The periods of oscillating current almost are a constant. These results were thought to relate to charge injection and charge traps features.
