Abstract
Today, technology has become an inseparable part of the youth's lives, leading to critical changes in the acculturation and education patterns. Therefore, education and especially eLearning specialists should put in the effort to use these instruments in learning and teaching adequately. The present research aimed to compare the experimental (using smartphones) and control (traditional face-to-face teaching) groups to learn TOEFL vocabulary words and their perceptions of TAM variables. The results showed that the experimental group learned significantly more than the control group and the experimental group's attitude to using mobile technology underwent a positive and significant change.
