Abstract

This study designed and examined counter-current water flow with manual and automatic control in a swimming pool, which improves the learning effectiveness for people with physical and mental disorders. 29 elementary school students with autism and three students with Down syndrome participated in the experiment. Their functional fitness, self-care ability, and motor skills were improved after swimming. The device of counter and upward current provided a safer, more interesting, and effective learning environment than a traditional pool.
逆流和逆流流体力学对身心障碍儿童游泳学习效果的影响
