A practical experience for engineering students through professional residencies

Abstract

This research shows a study of implicit pedagogical nature in the construct "or Residences Professional Practice"; Curriculum includes elements of nature in order to understand and evaluate student and teacher opinions related to this issue. The purpose is to identify the skills, knowledge and benefits acquired by students of the Technological Institute of Saltillo (ITS), through their stay in local and national companies to develop a project of his discipline, contributing to his training as an engineer quantitative research is applied through an instrument that consists of a formulation of questions directed to students and residents and interviews with teachers, which is organized into five sections: the Professionals Residences, design and dynamics research, interpretation and integration of the results of the case study findings and analysis that will identify the skills, acquired knowledge, relationships and skills that enable them to achieve a good professional and service to the society in which they live performance as students and later as citizens production.
