Abstract

This paper presents the concept and experimental results of a microgrid under the name of District Power Plant, designed to operate as an active element in the utility grid, capable of provide services such as demand response, active power supply and advanced metering. It will show the stable operation of this kind of system under islanding and reconnection operations, as well as show the good energy quality under both connected and stand-alone modes.
