Willingness to communicate is a recently emerged concept in applied linguistics which is believed to interrelate with many other important concepts like motivation, anxiety, self-perceived communicative competence, self-confidence, international posture, and language proficiency. It is such an individual variable which help the language learners acquire better communicative skills in using a foreign language. Therefore, willingness to communicate is regarded as an important variable that facilitates the process of foreign language learning in such a way that predicts the flow of language communication. As such, it influences how frequently the learners actively engage in foreign language communication. Keywords: willingness to communicate, foreign language, communication
