Further, incorporating HVDC link in parallel to AC tie-line revealed system dynamics drastically improved. Abstract
This paper deals with the effect of various FACTS devices and HVDC links on multi-area power systems. Area-1, 2, and 3 incorporated hydro-thermal and wind turbine systems (WTS) as generating units.
