Material and methods: The authors present su rgical treatment outcomes of 1 818 children with the pathology of peritoneal vaginal process; 32 of these had postoperative complications and relapses. Two clinical observations of children aged 10 and 14 years who underwent surgery for the recurrence of i nguinal hernia and hydrocele are described. Results: The rate of relapses or complications following surgical treatment of children with inguinal hernia, hydrocele and cryptorchidism at the Clinical and Research Institute of Emergency Pediatric Surgery and Trauma ranges from 1.5 % to 2.3%. Abstract
