Data Sets Selection for Distributed Infocommunication Networks Traffic Abnormality Detection

Abstract

Labeled datasets are needed to train and estimate anomaly-based intrusion detection systems. Given paper offer a datasets survey for intrusion detection systems on basis of flow-based and packet-based network data. The dataset plays an significant role for intrusion detection systems, so given paper propose brief description of several most-known datasets and offer a datasets classification to such categories as network traffic-based dataset, internet traffic-based dataset, virtual private network-based dataset, and IoT traffic-based dataset.
