Analyses of the Measurement Accuracy of the Optical Light Gates

Abstract

Nowadays, the optical light gates are widely used measurement system for the determination of the projectile velocity. This article deals with the analyses of the measurement accuracy of this measurement system. The detailed qualitative analyses is presented here. Furthermore, the methodology of measurement accuracy assessment of such type of device is presented in this article as well.
