Abstract
The idea of close collaboration between universities and university-business cooperation has become increasingly popular. On the one hand, this is due to the “Declaration on Cooperation between Universities and Industry”, signed in Bonn, which affirms a need for higher education institutions to contribute to the formation of a “knowledge society”, taking into account the views of stakeholders (business structures). On the other hand, it is impossible to deny the importance of the development of university community in various areas, including in the ones of scientific research and joint educational programs. Such cooperation also has a favorable impact on the promotion of education exports, contributing to the development of the domestic market of higher education. All this allows improving the quality of training programs, increasing the number of talented youth and the value of human capital, which becomes especially important in the context of import substitution.
