Each element of the characteristics of a transmission line is modeled by a principal part and a remainder. The principal part consists of an impulse and an exponential function, whose Laplace transform matches the original function at infinity frequency with order 1 and at zero frequency with order 0. The remainder consists of a cubic polynomial for a single line and a piecewise cubic polynomial for coupled lines. Abstract
In this paper, we present a new time domain model of interconnects modeled as transmission line networks.
