An Analysis of Knowledge Map on Festival & special event Research in China based on CiteSpace

Abstract

Knowledge map is displayed by combining the theories and methods of Applied Mathematics, information science and other disciplines with bibliometric citation analysis and co-occurrence analysis.This paper visualizes the knowledge map of sample literatures which were published in core journals and CSSCI journals in the CNKI database by using CiteSpace. The result indicates that the festival&special event(FSE) research lacks stability and continuity overally,the cooperation among different regions and institutions isn't enough, it's time for the academic researchers to increase various cooperation.In terms of research hotspots, the residents' perception, the impact of FSE on tourism destination and the integration for FSE industry have been explored in depth. In addition, this paper constructs the "2T-2R" integration framework of FSE research in the Chinese context creatively and explains the effect mechanism briefly. FSE researchers should innovate the depth and breadth of theories further and carry out in-depth exploration of "intelligent FSE" to direct industrial practice better in the future.
