Regulation of Sustainable Housing Industry through Blockchain Technology

Abstract

This paper focuses on evaluating the usage of blockchain technology for introduction of life-cycle approach to construction resources which would ensure sustainable development through deployment of advanced technology in the housing market. It aims at justifying the adoption of blockchain technology for assuring sustainable resources to guarantee legitimacy of the green building industry. The conclusion deals with whether or not introduction of blockchain technology in green building regulations is a viable regulatory mean to ensure a sustainable housing industry without technological disparities.
