Abstract
Novel devices have been demonstrated using electrooptic polymers for microwave-photonic interactions. These include MMIs (multimode interference based switches), directional couplers, poling-induced and photobleached waveguides, and passive-to-active waveguide adiabatic transitions. Applications in millimeter wave phase control, high-speed switching, linearized modulation, and optical frequency conversion are presented.
