Abstract

The main objective of the article is to evaluate the impact of selected objectives and their implementation as part of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) and the Cohesion Policy for the development of rural areas from the perspective of sustainable development. The analysis aims to assess the effects of the CAP and Cohesion Policy on rural areas between 2007 and 2013 and to evaluate the consistency and complementarity of instruments affecting rural development implemented under the CAP and Cohesion Policy between 2014 and 2020.
