Study on the Opportunities and Realization Route of College Students' Ideological and Political Education against the Backdrop of the "Belt and Road" Initiative

Abstract

The "Belt and Road" initiative is the top development strategy of China. College students' ideological and political education is facing both challenges and new opportunities that can further stimulate patriotism, strengthen the Chinese culture self-confidence, enrich the citizenship education, and excavate the educational function of historical and cultural resources. We can cultivate qualified human resources for China's "Belt and Road" initiative by means of strengthening ideals and beliefs, patriotism, the Chinese traditional cultural quintessential, the national quality education as a major country, integrating the Silk Road spirit into the classes of ideological and political education, and creating a multi-cultural atmosphere, etc.
