Abstract

Electrochemically deposited conducting polymer polyaniline (PANI) electrochromic films were deposited onto the indium tin oxide (ITO) coated glass electrodes and their electrochromic performances were investigated by using spectrophotometric and electrochemical methods. Optical performance of PANI film was evaluated by measuring spectroscopic signals before and after the incubation of PANI film coated electrode in ammonia and some metal ion containing solutions.
