Abstract

As common tools to validate underwater acoustic network protocols, simulation platforms are challenged by constructing near-real channel model and communication nodes. In this paper, we design a semi-physical simulation platform based on NS3, called Aqua-Psim, to narrow gaps between simulation and sea trial. It combines real modems and software for higher simulation accuracy and network configuration flexibility.
