Do learning activities matter?

Abstract

In this article we show how Principal Component Analysis can determine if a course design provides class activities that drive students to improve their skills and get good grades. We also show how this type of statistical analysis can simplify course design by determining if certain activities and feedback instruments measure the same thing.
