Abstract
Here is presented a model for the optimal sizing and operation of a domestic installation with photovoltaic generation (PV), battery storage, electric vehicle (EV) and connection to the grid under different tariffs. The key point is to assess the effect of different commercial tariffs on the system optimal size and total cost. Three kind of tariffs are considered, each one oriented to: i) only grid connection, ii) prosumers, and iii) users with EV. Modified tariffs considering prosumers and EV are explored. The model is posed as a linear two stage stochastic optimization problem with uncertainty in PV generation and demand. In the case study it is applied to three real tariffs in Spain and a sensitivity analysis is performed on: PV cost, battery cost, and price for the PV generation sold to the grid.
