Abstract

Mannheimia (Pasteurella) haemolytica serotypes A2 and A12 were isolated in a poultry flock of laying birds in Vom, plateau State,Nigeria. The gross pathology at postmortem was similar to those of fowl cholera. This is the first reported case of these serotypes in Nigeria.
