Digital medicine as a mechanism for ensuring the availability of hightech medical services in the healthcare of the Republic of Moldova

Abstract

The concept and content of digital medicine, its prospects as an extremely important innovative direction are considered. The goal. The paper aim is devoted to the analysis of the development of a new area of modern healthcare - digital medicine in the Republic of Moldova. Research Methods. During the elaboration of the paper the author used research methods such as analysis, comparison, synthesis, deduction and secondary sources of information. Results. Today, digital medicine in the Republic of Moldova is an organization of medical care, which significantly increases its effectiveness through the use of the results of processing and analyzing large amounts of medical data in digital form. The goal of digital health is to ensure that all people receive quality health services in the right place and at the right time without the associated financial hardship when it comes to choosing between receiving health services and satisfying other essential services. In order to fully implement the integrated unified digital health in the Republic of Moldova, it is necessary to strengthen the governance mechanisms, the regulatory framework, the digital skills of health workers and the national legislation in the field of digital health.
