A ATIVIDADE DE INTELIGÊNCIA NO BRASIL: UMA CONTEXTUALIZAÇÃO HISTÓRICA

Abstract

O presente artigo objetiva apresentar um panorama da evolução histórica da atividade de inteligência no Brasil, traçando um paralelo com suas origens e aplicações na história humana, bem como a sua importância para a sociedade, para a garantia da soberania e dos interesses nacionais. Através da análise de documentos, compilação de informações e das discussões fomentadas na disciplina de Doutrina, Legislação e Atividades de Inteligência para Segurança Pública, do Mestrado Acadêmico em Desenvolvimento e Sociedade da Uniarp, este trabalho pretende também lançar um pouco mais de luz ao tema, que devido muito ao seu caráter de discrição, sigilo e confidencialidade, acaba gerando dúvidas quando abordado, especialmente entre aqueles que têm pouca ou nenhuma familiaridade com o assunto. Este artigo adotou a metodologia descritiva de caráter bibliográfico, com foco na discussão do papel da inteligência policial na formação da segurança pública nacional. História da Inteligência.   ABSTRACT This objective article presents an overview of the historical evolution of intelligence activity in Brazil, drawing a parallel with its origins and applications in human history, as well as its importance for society, for the guarantee of sovereignty and national interests. Through the analysis of documents, compilation of information and discussions fostered in the discipline of Doctrine, Legislation and Intelligence Activities for Public Security, of the Academic Master's Degree in Development and Society of Uniarp, this work also intends to shed a little more light on the theme, which, due to its character of description, secrecy and confidentiality, ends up generating doubts when exactly, especially among those who have little or no familiarity with the subject. This article adopted a bibliographic descriptive methodology, focusing on the discussion of the role of police intelligence in the formation of national public security. Keywords: Public Security.
