Abstract

Despite the remarkable work of collecting data on wealth in the major advanced economies conducted by Th. Piketty and his colleagues, the interpretations put forward in Capital in the 21st Century are not satisfactory. The analysis lacks reference to „capital“ itself, that which governs the dynamics of the capitalist mode of production.
