Abstract
Today, the environment around the world is threatened by the activity of humankind and its impacts have been increased by continuous utilization and exploitation of natural resources. Also, the increasing market share of automotive industry forces companies to seek environmentally friendly products or processes. The previous study has been conducted to study a consequence from improving greener products or processes. This study aims to identify a set of factors, from the previous perspective, for the automotive manufacturer. By performing the frequency analysis among 30 automotive related significant studies, the result confirms 12 factors: including Budget, Government Incentive, Corporate Social Responsibility, Training, Competitor, Material Availability, Energy Saving Carbon Dioxide Emission, Green Standard, Green Image, Green Customer and Safety. These 12 factors will be further used to develop a model to study the pattern and trend of the future automotive industry in Thailand.
