An Exploration on the Competency Traits of High-Quality Children's Teachers in Shanghai, China

Abstract

This study is to explore the competency traits of high-quality children's teachers in Shanghai, China. Methods of literature textual analysis, interviews and questionnaire survey are used in the study. Through policy texts and literature, 253 interviews and 104 questionnaires, the researchers generated 16 keywords of the competency traits of high-quality children's teachers in Shanghai. The study also discussed the differences among the 16 keywords of competency traits.
