Abstract
This paper proposes an effective approach for improving English proficiency of non-native English-speaking engineering students during their first-year of bachelor programs. The approach begins with the problem identification and the study design methods. An academic plan with modifications and additional English courses is introduced in this work to remedy the deficiency reported previously. The effectiveness of such modification is demonstrated through questionnaires that are based on this case study. The study aims to provide beneficial support for individuals in engineering education where the English language is not the native language of students.
