Abstract
The paper presents an analysis of the technical solution of the fire alarm system for the
selected railway facility. The task of fire alarm systems (FAS s) and fixed fire extinguishers (FFEs), used
in transport facilities, is to detect the fire dangers present in the transport process − both for stationary
and mobile objects. These systems are increasingly used in the transport process, where they ensure
the safety of people (e.g. airports, railway stations, ports, etc.), transported goods at fixed facilities (e.g.
logistic bases, land and sea transshipment terminals, etc.) and transported goods in mobile objects
(rail, road, and sea transport). Due to the functions performed in the transport process, they must
have a proper functional and reliability structure to ensure safety in the transport process.
Keywords: exploitation, complex technical object, handling.
