Abstract
This paper presents mainly the two control topologies of Dc-Dc Buck Converter, particularly, the Current Mode Control (CMC) and the Voltage Mode Control (VMC) with the prime objective to study their operations and also to show their transient response under line and load disturbances. Thus the simulation studies performed on buck converter and the result analysis will shows that current mode control require smaller time to attain steady state than voltage mode control and hence current mode control provides faster transient response than voltage mode control.
