Abstract

The general education curriculum in the United States has gradually matured under long-term adjustment and improvement. The general education in domestic colleges and universities started late and is still in the process of continuous improvement and development. At present, domestic colleges and universities music colleges are still in the stage of continuous exploration for the part of general education, and a mature theoretical system has not yet formed on general education. This paper compares the piano curriculum of American colleges and universities with the piano curriculum of domestic colleges, establishes a model of college piano curriculum, constructs a comparative analysis framework of piano curriculum in Chinese and American colleges, and deeply explores the differences in the piano curriculum of Chinese and American colleges.
