The low level continuous controllers perform optimization tasks, specific to different operating regimes. A supervisor placed on an upper level must guarantee the safe transition from an operating regime to another, triggered by some discrete events. Abstract
A supervisory control approach is used to ensure the safe and optimal operation of a grid connected wind power system.
