Abstract

The development of modern technologies determines all spheres of public life, the economy, first of all. Education should not only keep up with technological innovations, but also be one step ahead of them. Since the mid-1990s, the reform of higher education has become permanent and, obviously, will be of decisive importance in the economy and politics over the next decades of the xxi century. Continuous retraining, retraining and education, stretching over the entire course of professional life, is becoming a familiar and no one is surprised by the forecast. The issues of regulating the directions of educational policy in the formation of a new technological way of life 4.0 are on the agenda. Is society ready to plunge into a new technological reality, protecting itself from technological threats and transformations of human nature itself?
